Seen, Loved, and Supported

We have the honor of connecting with a woman that moved into our area and has chosen to trust and love us as the hands and feet of Christ. She does not have family (or much other support) and does not drive. Multiple church gap ministries have helped her furnish her home with furniture, linens, kitchen items, and more. Our Wheels of Love drivers have helped her get to many appointments as well as the grocery store and local thrift shops for needed items. We have helped her work with the local police department and also a local attorney as she navigated unknown charges on her credit history. She has also received a few official documents in the mail that seemed confusing and frustrating. Church volunteers stepped in to look over them and even make a few calls for clarity. However- the love of Christ has gone both ways. She has made cupcakes for the staff and volunteers and also writes us letters of love and encouragement regularly. She is is true blessing in our lives…and we hope to be the same in her life. Everyone has so graciously stepped up with time, compassion, and various ways that they are able to help. A woman has been reminded that she is seen and loved. God is so good!
