Strangers to Friends

God is really moving in some lives! We have seen two women (total strangers) come together through calling into the Connection Center for some support and resources and eventually attending Fresh Start. Prayers have been shared in numerous ways, challenges have been walked through and overcome, they have found ways to build into each other and beyond through this time of unknowns for each of them. None of this could have happened without God’s grand plan, churches, volunteers, and a willingness to be vulnerable and grow! Mentorship is now happening with both of them, along with being served by church folks in their local professions to make things easier and continue to boost confidence. Most of all, each of them has been reminded that they are seen, they are loved, and that they matter. Through all of this, one of them wrote a beautiful poem of heartfelt hope and belief in God’s strength and power while the other set that poem to music. The song that come from that is
